Sara is an Australian artist who has been in the industry for over 20 years after training in the UK in Cardiff.
Artist Statement;
My work dares to challenge the global mass Medias need for the unrealistic beautification of people. I love painting people being themselves, and regard the media’s overuse of enhanced photography as a way of stripping away individuality.
I use ‘Oil on Canvas’ as my main method. In my latest body of work I have experimented with a new dimension using canvas on canvas creating a sculptural experience full of glowing warmth and light of the oil medium.
